You Could Stay be Staying at the Living Architecture’s ‘Balancing Barn’ Holiday Accommodation near Southwold in Suffolk – which was featured on the BBC Radio 5 live Richard Bacon showLiving Architecture, who were recently featured on Richard Bacons Radio 5Live programme, is a new social enterprise which has been set up to revolutionise both architecture and UK holiday rental accommodation.
Living architecture offer a chance for guests to rent holiday houses designed by some of the most talented architects at work in the world today, and set in some of the most stunning locations in Britain, such as here in sunny Southwold in Suffolk. The Balancing Barn stands on the edge of a tranquil nature reserve a few miles inland from the Suffolk coast, near the historic towns of Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Southwold. The balancing Barn is clad in elegant silver tiles, the house dramatically cantilevers over the landscape, providing views from its massive panoramic windows over woods, ponds and meadows. The house was designed by the Dutch firm MVRDV, who have won a world-wide reputation for the ingenuity and comfort of their property designs.
