Southwold Denes – Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour’s mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coasts and Heaths (to whom our customer’s booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the area. And a very important area it is. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird’s foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes.
Beach House, behind South Denes is a unique property which has been restored and maintained to a high standard throughout. It has exceptional views of the sea, common, estuary and harbour with Walberswick in the distance. The property boasts a rear garden with panoramic views.
